Live Edge Woodworker Collaboration

Woodworkers Unite for a Cause!

Hello Fellow Live Edge Lovers!

This is Gerrasimos and Crystal-Dawn writing to share a special invitation for a very special project!

Gerry has been milling specialty logs for nearly a decade with an Alaskan sawmill, and gathered quite a collection of the best of the best of the Okanagan. Here's a link to his work with Black Forest milling some claro walnut burls

Some shop tours showing the collection:

…And that was years ago, there's plenty more now!

We are cordially inviting you to a gathering of the most prominent live edge woodworkers, and opening the doors of our wood collection to all of you to create an epic piece of natural art. These pieces will be sold at an auction house for the highest possible bids, supporting the creation and initiatives of Eunoia.

We are cordially inviting you to a gathering of the most prominent live edge woodworkers, and opening the doors of our wood collection to all of you to create an epic piece of natural art. These pieces will be sold at an auction house for the highest possible bids, supporting the creation and initiatives of Eunoia.

Benefits to yourself:

  • An opportunity to collaborate with other woodworkers and create new exciting content.

  • A vacation in the amazing Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada.

  • The rare opportunity to pillage a wood hoarders personal collection, over 100 massive slabs in his “don't even look at it” pile, all fair game.

  • No cost - No tariffs

Benefits to Us

  • We get some room in our shop

  • We get to see the wood glorified

  • We get to socialize with all of you and share ideas.

  • We get social media exposure for our ultimate goal - Eunoia and The Steward of the Land Program.

Despite having a massive wood collection and doing live edge wood work ourselves, we are not in competition with any of you. We are transitioning our endeavors and focus to education for sustainable living.

If you have not yet heard of the Steward of the Land Program, it is a global goal of collaboration to create sustainable ecovillages with the employment opportunity of caring for the land.

What about the $$$$?

No cost - No tariff Explanation

No one ever knows what a piece will sell for and how much time and expense a slab can take up, so our plan is to swallow the cost of uncertainty.

We will provide a spreadsheet for you to keep track of costs incurred throughout the project. Travel, transport, materials, ect.

Hopefully the social media exposure on the pieces made will create epic sales through an art auction house, increasing the value of all pieces from this collaborative effort. Each piece will have a plaque with the wood artist's name, info on the wood, and contribution to global change.

All benefits from online content working on the piece creating content are solely yours.

Once the piece sells, you get paid first for all costs incurred on the spreadsheet, and the remainder equates to the value of the slab.  The proceeds from the slab will go directly to Eunoia and the Stewart of the Land Program.

** Side Note! We are NOT a registered non profit with charitable status YET!

Eunoia requires collaboration and is currently in the legal stage of establishing it as a non profit organization.

We are two people that use a 7 foot bar on an Alaskan mill to save trees and create epic carbon sequestering art!

We have a shop space that's stacked with slabs that we want to see go to the best use possible, while launching a new effort to help save our planet.

We have the use of an acreage for setting up campsites and various activities during your stay.

We're situated on the edge of the Monashee Mountains with easy travel to Kalamalka and Okanagan Lake, or natural hot springs in Nakusp, BC.

Kelowna, BC (YLW) is the nearest airport, about an hour away.

We're open to all ideas of what you'd like to do for activities as you are your own content creators. We're the facilitators of an epic gathering of y'all.

So if you would join us in our mission, we would love to meet you all and see what epic projects you have in mind for our epic wood collection.
